Editor’s note: Since the publishing of this article in 2016, I have discovered that this dress was actually by Akris.

Earlier this month, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the wedding of Charlene’s younger brother, Gareth Wittstock to his longtime girlfriend, Roisin Galvin who wore a beautiful Pronovias gown.

Princess Charlene in Dior Gareth Wittstock Wedding 2015

Princess Charlene wore a modified version of a dress that’s been seen twice before.

The gown first appeared (with Graff waterfall earrings) in 2011 at Yorkshire Variety Club’s Golden Jubilee Ball (left) then in Germany in 2012 for an official dinner hosted by president Joachim Glauck. The dress was reported in 2012 to be Dior and so was the dove grey clutch Charlene carried that night. I have confirmed from reliable sources that it’s actually by Akris.

There is that particular photo in Germany in which the partner of the president, Daniela Schadt steps on the train of Charlene’s gown, perhaps that’s why the Princess of Monaco decided to get the frock reworked.

Princess Charlene Graff Diamonds necklace

Back to the wedding: Charlene wore silver Chaos Cuff sandals by Manolo Blahnik which you can buy from HERE. The earrings and necklace were confirmed to be Graff Diamonds, though no further information or photos of them were provided and, of course, whether they’re a a loan or the property of the princess. But honestly all I care about is that Charlene has provided so much bling in one night!

Give me the gown version of this number, the necklace, the earrings and a new diamond tiara and you’ll have me swearing that I’ve died and gone to heaven. This is not the first Dior dress that Charlene has played with. Stay tuned to know about the other one ;)

What do you think of Charlene’s ensemble for the night?
