On Valentine’s Day, The Prince and Princess of Monaco attended The Laureus World Awards in Carolina Herrera. But the highlight of the outfit for me was not the dress, it was the earrings.
The pearl and diamond earrings are vintage Cartier and were worn by Debra Messing to the Emmy’s in 2007.
The earrings (or similar ones) were auctioned off by Christie’s in June 2016 and were sold for over $62,000.
The earrings were described on Christie’s website as “of tapering form, each pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond panel with pierced detailing and single cultured pearl accent, suspending a diamond-set fringe, post and clip fittings, 11.1cm, with French assay marks for gold, in Cartier case.”
