Over the weekend, The Princely Palace of Monaco released a new official photo of the Princely Family. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene are standing in the throne room in the palace with Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella who are holding hands.

(in a different colour)

For the family’s first official portrait, which will be available to purchase in souvenir shops all over the principality, the Princess of Monaco wore a blue pleated gown by Louis Vuitton. The gown is made of silk and features an Elizabethan-style collar with a drawstring cuff detail.

The dress comes from the Cruise 2019 collection and costs £7,500 (9,700 USD) and is only available by phone or in stores in different colours.

Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene of Monaco paired the gorgeous gown with her Repossi pearl chandelier earrings. These earrings first appeared in 2018 to the Nymph Awards and reappeared at the 2019 Red Cross Gala.

I’m in love with this look. Although Charlene wears Louis Vuitton a lot, the dress is a not her usual style, the pleating detail is exquisite and the color looks amazing on the princess. A triumphant official photo.

Self Portrait - Pleated chiffon long sleeve gown

This Self-Portrait evening dress is more budget-friendly while still being from a luxury designer that royals wear often. Made of chiffon, the dress comes in different colours such as light blue and pale pink. The lace-up cuffs and collar are almost identical to the Louis Vuitton number. This gown costs $388 (30%), around 5% of the cost of the LV frock.
