Earlier tonight Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the 2017 Laureus Awards at the Salle des Etoiles in Monaco. The Laureus World Sports Awards is “held annually, celebrating the most remarkable men and women from the world of sport along with their achievements from the previous calendar year.” You might remember Charlene had a recorded segment at the ceremony last year.
The outfit:
For this year’s ceremony, The Princess of Monaco donned a red silk faille Carolina Herrera gown. The off the shoulder frock has straps, a V-neckline and a ball skirt.
The colour is excellent for an event that falls on Valentine’s Day (Happy Valentine’s Day, BTW ❤️️). But Something about the bodice and the straps make me feel uneasy.
The skirt is such an unusual silhouette from Charlene though and I absolutely love it!
Charlene paired her red number with a silver pair of Romy pumps by Jimmy Choo which you can buy from HERE.
I am waiting for better photos of the jewelry to ID it. Montblanc is a sponsor, so maybe that or maybe she is debuting her newly acquired birthday present ;)
