Firstly, sorry this post was long overdue. As you all know, this time of the year is very busy. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have been busy as well. One the 10th, they visited the Princess Charlene children’s centre and the Rosine Sanmori Day Nursery.
HSH repeated the Louis Vuitton coat from this year’s Sainte Devote.
This time, pairing it with a white turtleneck and pants.
A few days later, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were joined by their twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques for the baptism of the Princesse Gabriella maritime police boat.
For the occasion, Princess Charlene wore a black double-breasted coat from Celine with a vicuna (both colour and material) turtleneck by Loro Piana.
Later that day, The Princess handed out gifts to children at the palace with Prince Jacques.
Charlene opted for a Dior Resort 2020 wool coat. This collection was shown in Marrakech and was praised for cultural appreciation rather than appropriation.
Under the coat, Princess Charlene wore the Hayden turtleneck from Loro Piana.
The sweater is stylized with little cables on the sleeves and front and embellished with tiny sequins applied by hand.
Obviously, we need to talk about the haircut.
Now, I understand why it may have been surprising to many, and that some may not like it for whatever reason. But one thing is for sure, this is definitely the start of a new era. There are so many ways Princess Charlene can style this cut to make it look anything from elegant and romantic to punk and edgy. I’m very excited about this. More important, I’m very excited that HSH is from a new generation of royals who do their duties their way.
