2009 was the last year Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie joined Prince Albert at the annual Arbre de Noel for Monegasque children at the Princely Palace without Princess Charlene. Right after the engagement in 2010, Princess Charlene has participated in the event every year except for 2014 as she had given birth to the twins only 6 days before the event.
