10 years ago, Miss Charlene Wittstock, fiancée of Prince Albert of Monaco attended her first ever National Day celebrations in Armani Privé. Since then, Charlene has become the Princess of Monaco and the mother of two of beautiful children. Akris has designed HSH’s outfits every year since she got married (Akris designed a look for Princess Charlene in 2016 but she opted for a Carolina Herrera coat instead). Until today.
This year, Terrence Bray created this ankle-length dress coat in dark purple blue with fuchsia lining and accents in double-face cashmere. The slits on the sleeve echo a slit in the slightly longer back.
Terrence has shared a close-up of the coat on Instagram.
HSH paired her coat dress with her Jimmy Choo Allure pumps in black suede. These pumps are a favorite of the Princess, perhaps because of their comfortable 2-inch heels. An Akris Anouk clutch in fuchsia made an appearance today after 9 years of hiding in the closet.
HSH wore her diamond and pearl stud earrings which were redesigned by Chayto Jewellers a few years ago and her Dior pearl ring. The RealReal has a selection of Dior pearl rings. HSH topped her look with a black “Parisian Beret” by Dior in rabbit felt.
I really like the color and fit of this coat. The length is something that will divide opinions, but isn’t that a part of the fun? Tell me, what YOU think of this look today?

Princess Charlene opted for the Arabella Fine Net Gloves by Cornelia James London. The gloves come in several length options and cost $142.

Love the look, especially the pumps. The length of the coat is somewhat different, but still beautiful.
The children’s clothes are also worth a mention, how cute are they?
