Merry Christmas dear royal couture lovers :)

Today, you along with all European royals celebrated the day publicly… Well, minus the Monegasque and the Spanish. Oh wait and the luxembourger too. Okay SOME of the European royals have celebrated publicly!

So let’s see what they have done, and of course, what they have worn!

Norway:

In the beginning I thought Mette-Marit was wearing black and I was quite sad that another royal is spending Christmas à la Charlene, but then I saw other pics and I knew it was blue, then I saw the booties, and I wished she had worn black but not booties. :(

Princess Mette-Marit wearing booties

ِAnd although Mette-Marit was wearing the magnificent amethyst, aquamarine and topaz earrings which were a gift from Prince Hakoon in 2005 (Princess Mette-Marit wore them before in this year’s Nobel Ceremony), Queen Sonja nails it for me, with her golden boots and luxurious,weather-appropriate. glamorous and totally royal fur.

Denmark

Møgeltønder Church received Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie at night, Marie in a simple outfit that I won’t comment about. Queen Daisy seems to be in fur, so I already love it!

Next morning December 25th, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie went to the church again.

Prince Frederik and Princess Mary attended Christmas Service at Garnisons Church at night, and the next morning attended the church too.

Although I really like the morning outfit, I can’t help LOVING the rather frumpy night outfit. I think my love for fur is going too strong, maybe scientists will call it Royal Fur Syndrome someday!

England

On Sunday, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Sophie of Wessex along with the male members including Prince Philip attended a service at St Mary Magdalene Church, the Queen missed the service as she was recovering from a cold, and of course the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t attend as they’re in Berkshire.
Here’s what the attendees have worn:

Sophie in a blue coat, a lovely purple hat and brown(?) new pair of heels. While Lady Louise wore the coat she has worn few days ago!

Eugenie wore a white/cream coat which she wore back in 2007. Kate owns the same Reiss Olivia White Double-Breasted Coat too, and she wore it to her 27th birthday, then to William’s RAF graduation, then last year while visiting Westminister Abbey.

Princess Beatrice wins the best dressed for the day for bringing color and color coordinating with her teal coat and yellow hat, J’aime!

Then for the Christmas day service at the same church, the British were in full force. So come on, Let’s give them some thumbs up!

Best in Queen With A New Brooch
Queen Elizabeth

Her majesty looked radiant in a turquoise coat dress by Peter Enrione and a hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan. Her majesty also chose to wear the BJA Jubilee Brooch which she received as a gift recently from the BJA. I love The Queen’s outfit, and that fur thingy.
Best in Color Blocking
Countess Sophie

Sophie wore a bespoke Emilia Wickstead coat, L.K Bennet new heels and a hat by Jane Taylor. by this attire, Sophie has made one of my favorite looks of the year just few days before it ends!
Worst in shoes
Autumn Phillips
Autumn opted for some cute coat -which I have absolutely no idea who has designed it-, a purple hat by Nerida Fraiman, then she decided to destroy her look by some horrible shoes/booties/shooties that I prefer not to know their designer.
Even Worse in Shoes
Zara Phillips
Okay, whoever is going shoe-shopping with the other MUST stop! and Zara, I hate your Karen Henriksen chopsticks hat…and the clutch too!
Best in Cadbury
Duchess of Cornwall

God bless Camilla, she brought us some chocolate/Cadbury wrapper to help us forget Zara and Autumn‘s shoes…. wait! maybes she’s still all foxy and is trying to distract us from hubby’s unmatching shoes? or probably her shiny whiny boots? Whatever, free Cadbury on Christmas day will always work with me, plus, she’s more jewelled than the Queen!
Best in Royal Sisters
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie

I’ve always loved that these two sister are so close, however, in their Fashion Choices they‘re quite different.
Princess Beatrice wearing Dolce and Gabbana

Princess Eugenie wore a grey coat and a pair of black boots. She completed her attire with a big clutch and a black beret hat, naturally, She looked good!
Beatrice chose an AMAZING beige coat from Dolce and Gabbana which she teamed with Dolce and Gabbana gloves, black pumps and a bespoke hat by Rosie Olivia, naturally, she looked AMAZING!

Beatrice’s coat is now on sale for $ 2,118 instead of $ 3,025 on Dolce and Gabbana website.
 It’s described as:

Nothing exudes better understated and timeless sophistication then a perfectly crafted outerwear.
This cape in stretch crepe is no exception and promises to take you out at your best.

  • Stretch crepe caped coat
  • Jewel buttons
  • Lined
I simple love how princessy and feminine it is!
Best in I’m Not Here
Duchess of Cambridge
Kate attended a service at St. Marks Church recycled a Hobbs Coat, Gucci Bag, Aquatalia Ankle Boots and a red scarf first seen in Canada.
That‘s how Royals spent their Christmas. How was did you spend yours? and whose look do you like the most?
