So Charlene’s circus week started with an appearance at the opening night on the 16th.

Charlene
attended with Prince Albert, Princess Stephanie and Pauline Ducruet
(isn’t she blossoming?). For the event, Charlene chose a Ralph Lauren
Collection top from the Fall 2013 collection.

The brown top has a peacock-feather-shaped trimming and possibly retails for more than I’d like to know.

Charlene teamed the top with skinny pants and brown thigh-high,
heeled boots which are different from her other brown thigh-high boots
(the others are flat, big difference, you know!). Char kept her makeup to a minimum and wore no jewelry.

On
a different day, Charlene was seen attending John Button’s funeral
along with Prince Albert. John is the father of Jenson Button the F1
champion and a Rallycross driver himself. He had been living his later years in Monaco.

Charlene wore an Akris coat, pants and a pair of black pumps.

On the 21st, Albert, Charlene, Stephanie and Pauline attended the awards night at the circus.

I
like that Pauline mixed black with gold, I dislike the length, though.
But she’s 19, I guess I can give that a pass, kudos for the yellow purse as well.
Stephanie’s outfit would count as business-chic if it didn’t have the
plunging neckline, now it counts -for me- as dressy Stephanie.
Charlene
wore Akris for the night. The blue double-face cashmere coat (I
personally thought it was satin) was worn on top of honeycomb St. Gallen
foil embroidery sheath.

A brown version of the dress is available on Neiman Marcus for USD 3,990 and is described as:

Akris designs a sheath that’s exciting and unexpected with shiny front apppliqués and deep side slits.
  • Embroidered tulle with shiny appliqués.
  • Crepe back with hidden zip.
  • Asymmetric neckline; sleeveless.
  • Tulle shoulders and back yoke.
  • Thigh-high side slits.
  • Hem falls below knee.
  • Slim sheath silhouette.
  • Polyester/viscose/polyurethane.
  • Made in Italy.

You can buy it from HERE

You
might notice that the dress on Neiman is lined in nude while Charlene’s
is in blue. I guess that might be a lesson Char learned from Moscow’s
trip?

I really like the neckline of the dress and think it really deserves
another outing. Char wore soft makeup and her heart-shaped stud
diamond earrings.

Finally, on her birthday,
the Princess of Monaco attended the presentation of the book “KZN, Land
of Dreams” and signed copies of it. The book is a part of Charlene’s
birthday celebrations and aims to provide the Monegasque people a look
at where their princess comes from.

For the event, Charlene repeated her Akris white suit with peplum detail that she first wore in November. With almost no makeup, Char kept it simple with just a pair of pearl earrings!

P.S: Don’t forget to vote in the poll on the left side to decide which princess to be added on the radar!

What do you think of these looks on Charlene? Which one is your favorite?
