On Saturday, November 7th, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a ceremony in Nice in tribute to the three victims of the attack at Notre-Dame de Nice Basilica a few days earlier. With important figures such as former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, the somber event seemed to follow social distancing guidelines.
This was a somber occasion and fashion is not the focus here. So before we continue, let’s take a second to remember the victims.
Princess Charlene wore a subdued suit. From the Celine Fall 2020 Collection, the suit was shown on the runway as a three-piece on a male model.
The suit is sold in both the men and women sides of the website. The concept of unisex clothing is the focus of Princess Stephanie’s daughter, Pauline at her brand, Alter Designs.

If you look at the pants, they’re a classic menswear cut. The blazer too is also slightly boxy. Celine has always been about classic pieces with a radical silhouette and this suit looked very elegant on the princess.
HSH paired the pantsuit with Celine Luco Triomphe Leather Loafers in black, quite trendy shoes.
The loafers are currently on sale on Italist for $867.
On her shoulders, the Princess carried the Pochette Metis bag by Louis Vuitton.
We saw this bag in November last year. Coincidence? 🤔
National Day is upon us, and I’m looking forward to it.
